IPS-tag for .uk domains
If you need to transfer any .co.uk domains, registrars will ask for the IPS tag of the gaining registrar. If you wish to transfer your domain to Monkey Tree Hosting, our IPS tag is 'MONKEYTREE' (minus the quotes). Simply provide this tag to your current registrar and you will be able to transfer your domain to us.
You can still order a domain transfer from us before changing the TAG but the transfer will not succeed until the TAG is changed. Once a tag is changed and the .uk transfer order has been placed the transfer usually happens within 12 hours.
You have 3 days to change the domain IPS-tag, before our system will cancel the domain order, and your transfer will fail. If this happens, simply put another order through and start the process again!
